“φασὶ γὰρ τοὺς μὲν προτέρους ἅπαντας καὶ αὐτοὺς “τοὺς ἀποστόλους παρειληφέναι τε καὶ δεδιδαχέναι “ταῦτα, ἃ νῦν οὗτοι λέγουσι, καὶ τετηρῆσθαι τὴν “ἀλήθειαν τοῦ κηρύγματος μέχρι τῶν χρόνων τῶν “Βίκτορος, ὃς ἦν τρισκαιδέκατος ἀπὸ Πέτρου ἐν “῾Ρώμη ἐπίσκοπος, ἀπὸ δὲ τοῦ διαδόχου αὐτοῦ Ζε- “φυρίνου παρακεχαράχθαι τὴν ἀλήθειαν.
