καὶ Μωυσῆς μὲν ταύτῃ πη δυσὶ τοῖς κατʼ αὐτὸν ἀρετῇ καὶ δόξη παρὰ πάντα τὸν λαὸν προφέρουσιν ἀνθρώποις, τῷ μὲν ἀρχιερεῖ, τῷ δὲ μετʼ αὐτὸν ἡγησομένῳ, τὴν τοῦ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ προσηγορίαν ἐπὶ τιμῇ τῇ μεγίστῃ περιτέθειται.

In this way, then, Moses bestowed the title of our Saviour Jesus Christ, as the highest honour, on the two men of his time who surpassed all the people in virtue and glory: on the high priest, and on the one who was to lead after him.
