Τὸ οὖν »πνεῦμα ἅγιον ἐπελεύσεται ἐπὶ σὲ« τὴν τοῦ σώματος τοῦ κυρίου γένεσιν λέγει, »δύναμις δὲ ὑψίστου ἐπισκιάσει σοι« τὴν μόρφωσιν δηλοῖ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἣν ἐνετύπωσεν τῷ σώματι ἐν τῇ παρθένῳ. Ὅτι μὲν οὖν αὐτὸς ἕτερος ἦν ὧν ἀνείληφεν. δῆλον ἐξ ὧν ὁμολογεῖ·
