ταῦτα κελεύσας τῷ ποιμένι ἀπῄει ἀπὸ τοῦ πύργου μετὰ πάντων, μεθʼ ὧν ἐληλύθει· αἱ δὲ παρθένοι κύκλῳ τοῦ πύργου εἱστήκεισαν τηροῦσαι αὐτόν.
