καὶ μεθʼ ἕτερα πάλιν ταῦτά φησιν “ἤδη δὲ ἴσθι γεγυμνῶσθαι ‟καὶ ἔρημον γεγονέναι, καταλιμπανόντων αὐτὸν καθʼ “ἡμέραν ἑκάστην τῶν ἀδελφῶν, καὶ εἰς τὴν ἐκκλη- ‟σίαν ἐπανερχομένων. ὃν καὶ Μωυσῆς ὁ μακάριος μάρτυς, ὁ παρʼ ἡμῖν ἔναγχος μαρτυρήσας καλήν “τινα καὶ θαυμαστὴν μαρτυρίαν, ἔτι ὢν ἐν κόσμῳ, “κατιδὼν αὐτοῦ τὴν θρασύτητα καὶ τὴν ἀπόνοιαν, ‟ἀκοινώνητον ἐποίησε σὺν τοῖς πέντε πρεσβυτέροις ῾τοῖς ἅμα αὐτῷ ἀποσχίσασιν ἑαυτοὺς τῆς ἐκκλησίας.”

And after other things again he says: “Know now that he is stripped and deserted, the brothers leaving him every day and returning to the church. Moses, too, the blessed martyr, who recently bore among us a noble and wonderful testimony, while he was still in the world, seeing his audacity and folly, excommunicated him together with the five presbyters who with him had cut themselves off from the church.”
