οὐκοῦν ὁ μὲν Ἰωάννης τῇ τοῦ κατʼ αὐτὸν εὐαγγελίου γραφῇ τὰ μηδέπω τοῦ βαπτιστο βεβλημένου εἰς φυλακὴν πρὸς τοῦ Χριστοῦ πραχθέντ παραδίδωσιν, οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ τρεῖς εὐαγγελισταὶ τὰ μετ τὴν εἰς τὸ δεσμωτήριον κάθειρξιν τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ μνη μονεύουσιν.
