ἐξεγείρου, ἐξεγείρου, ἔνδυσαι τὴν ἰσχὺν, ἔνδυσαι τὴν δόξαν σου. ἐκτίναξαι τὸν χοῦν καὶ ἀνάστηθι. κάθισον, ἔκλυσαι τὸν δεσμὸν τοῦ τραχήλου σου. ἄρον κύκλῳ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἴδε συνηγμένα τὰ τέκνα σου· ἰδοὺ συνήχθησαν καὶ ἦλθον πρός σε· ζῶ ἐγὼ, λέγει κύριος, ὅτι πάντας αὐτοὺς ὡς κόσμον ἐνδύσῃ καὶ περιθήσῃ αὐτοὺς ὡς κόσμον νύμφης, ὅτι τὰ ἔρημά σου καὶ τὰ διεφθαρμένα καὶ τὰ καταπεπτωκότα νῦν στενοχωρήσει ἀπὸ τῶν κατοικούντων σε· καὶ μακρυνθήσονται ἀπὸ σοῦ οἶ καταπίνοντές σε.

Awake, awake, put on strength, put on your glory. Shake off the dust and arise. Sit down, loose the bond from your neck. Lift up your eyes round about and see your children gathered; behold, they have gathered and come to you. As I live, says the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament and clothe yourself with them as a bride's ornament; for your desolate and ruined and fallen places will now be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who devoured you will be far from you.
