ὡς μὲν οὑν τὰς κατὰ τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτῷ νομισθείσας εὐπραγίαις κατὰ τὸν οἶκον ἐπαλλήλοις ἠμαύρωσε συμφοραῖς, γυναι- κὸς καὶ τέκνων καὶ τῶν λοιπῶν τῶν μάλιστα πρὸς γένους ἀναγκαιοτάτων τε καὶ φιλτάτων μιαιφο- νίαις, οὐδὲ οἷόν τε νῦν καταλέγειν, τραγικὴν ἃπασαν δραματουργίαν ἐπισκιαζούσης τῆς περὶ τούτων ὑποθέσεως, ἣν εἰς πλάτος ἐν ταῖς καθʼ αὑτὸν ἱστορίαις ὁ Ἰώσηπος διελήλυθεν.
