»ὁ γὰρ θεὸς πνεῦμα, ὅπου θέλει πνεῖ.« ἡ γὰρ δύναμις οὐ κατʼ οὐσίαν διήκει, ἀλλὰ κατὰ δύναμιν καὶ ἰσχύν, παράκειται δὲ τὸ πνεῦμα τῷ πνεύματι, ὡς τὸ πνεῦμα τῇ ψυχῇ.

“For God is spirit; it blows where it wills.” For the power does not pervade by substance, but by power and strength; and spirit lies beside spirit, as spirit beside soul.
