“And the words, ‘binding his foal to the vine and the foal of the ass to the tendril,’ were a foretelling both of the works done by him at his first coming, and likewise of the nations who would believe in him. For they were like an unsaddled foal, with no yoke on its neck, until this Christ came and, sending through his disciples, made them disciples; and bearing the yoke of his word, they put their backs to enduring all things for the sake of the good things expected and announced by him.
