Καὶ εἰ μὲν ἀπὸ τῆς συλλήψεως λαμβάνειν ἐπιχειρήσει τις, ἄληπτός ἐστιν ὁ ἀκριβὴς περὶ τούτου λόγος, ταχὺς ὑπάρχων χρόνος· καὶ εἰκότως. οὐ γὰρ ἔχομεν λέγειν, εἴτε ἅμα τῇ μεταθέσει τοῦ σπέρματος γέγονεν ἡ σύλληψις εἴτε καὶ μή.

And if one tries to take it from conception, the precise account of this cannot be grasped, the time being swift; and reasonably so. For we cannot say whether conception took place at the same moment as the transfer of the seed or not.
