Shepherd of Hermas, Vision 2.3.1 (7.1)
Summary: Hermas must forgive his family and stop neglecting them.
English · Claude translation
But you, Hermas, no longer bear a grudge against your children, nor neglect your sister, so that they may be cleansed from their former sins. For they will be disciplined with righteous discipline, if you do not bear a grudge against them. Bearing a grudge works death. But you, Hermas, have had great troubles of your own because of the transgressions of your household, because you did not care about them; but you were negligent and got entangled in your evil business dealings.
