ὁ δʼ ἐπιρρέων ποταμὸς τὴμ “πόλιν ποτὲ μὲν ἐρήμου τῆς ἀνύδρου ξηρότερος “ὤφθη, καὶ μᾶλλον αὐχμώδης ἐκείνης, ἣν διαπο- “ρευόμενος ὁ Ἰσραὴλ οὕτως ἐδίψησεν, ὡς Μωυσοῦ “μὲν καταβοᾶν, ῥυῆναι δʼ αὐτοῖς παρὰ τοῦ θαυμάσια “ποιοῦντος μόνου ἐκ πέτρας ἀκροτόμου ποτόν·
