καὶ ὥσπερ τούτου ἕνεκεν ‟ἀπαγαγὼν ἡμᾶς πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς, ἐπεὶ τὴν ‟διακονίαν ταύτην ἐπληρώσαμεν, πάλιν ἀπαγήοχεν. ‟ὁ γὰρ Αἰμιλιανὸς εἰς τραχυτέρους μὲν, ὡς ἐδόκει, “καὶ λιβυκωτέρους ἡμᾶς μεταστῆσαι τόπους ἐβου- ‟λήθη, καὶ τοὺς πανταχόσε εἰς τὸν Μαρεώτην ἐκέ- ‟λευσε συρρεῖν, κώμας ἑκάστοις τῶν κατὰ χώραν “ἀφορίσας, ἡμᾶς δὲ μᾶλλον ἐν ὁδῷ καὶ πρώτους ‟καταληφθησομένους ἔταξεν. ᾠκονόμει γὰρ δηλονότι ‟καὶ παρεσκεύαζεν, ἵνα ὁπόταν βουληθείη συλλαβεῖν, ‟πάντας εὐαλώτους ἔχοι.

English · Claude translation

And as if God had brought us to them for this purpose, when we had fulfilled this ministry, he took us away again. For Aemilianus wished to transfer us to rougher and, as it seemed, more Libyan places, and ordered those everywhere to stream into the Mareotis, assigning villages to each group throughout the country; but us he placed rather on the road, to be arrested first. For evidently he was arranging and preparing so that, whenever he wished to seize us, he would have all easy to capture.
