Περὶ δὲ τοῦ κατʼ αὐτὸν διωγμοῦ σφοδρότατα πνεύσαντος οἷα σὺν ἑτέροις ὁ αὐτὸς διὰ τὴν εἰς τὸν τῶν ὅλων θεὸν εὐσέβειαν ὑπέστη, δηλώσουσιν αἱ αὐτοῦ φωναὶ, ἃς πρὸς Γερμανὸν τῶν κατʼ αὐτὸν ἐπισκόπων κακῶς ἀγορεύειν αὐτὸν πειρώμενον ἀποτεινόμενος τοῦτον παρατίθεται τὸν τρόπον
