ἀθρόον δέ τι σύνταγμα στρατιωτικὸν, Ἄμμων “καὶ Ζήνων καὶ Πτολεμαῖος καὶ Ἰγγένης, καὶ σὺν “ αὐτοῖς πρεσβύτης Θεόφιλος, εἱστήκεισαν πρὸ τοῦ “δικαστηρίου· κρινομένου δή τινος ὡς Χριστιανοῦ ‘καὶ πρὸς ἄρνησιν ἤδη ῥέποντος ἐπρίοντο οὗτοι “παρεστηκότες, καὶ τοῖς τε προσώποις ἐνένευον, καὶ “τὰς χεῖρας ἀνέτεινον, καὶ συνεσχηματίζοντο τοῖς σώμασιν.

English · Claude translation

A whole band of soldiers, Ammon, Zeno, Ptolemy, and Ingenes, and with them an old man Theophilus, were standing before the tribunal. When someone being tried as a Christian was already inclining toward denial, they, standing by, gnashed their teeth, made signs with their faces, stretched out their hands, and gestured with their bodies.
