ὁ δὲ καλὸς κἀγαθὸς ταύτης ἀνὴρ, δέον “αὐτὸν χαίρειν, ὅτι ἃ πάλαι μετὰ τῶν ὑπηρετῶν καὶ “τῶν μισθοφόρων εὐχερῶς ἔπραττε, μέθαις χαίρουσα ’῾καὶ κακίᾳ πάσῃ, τούτων μὲν τῶν πράξεων πέπαυτο, “καὶ αὐτὸν τὰ αὐτὰ παύσασθαι πράττοντα ἐβούλετο, μὴ βουλομένου ἀπαλλαγείσης κατηγορίαν πεποίηται, “λέγων αὐτὴν Χριστιανὴν εἶναι.

But her fine and noble husband, when he ought to have rejoiced that she had ceased from what she used to do readily with the servants and hirelings, delighting in drunkenness and every vice, and wished him too to cease doing the same, since she had left him against his will, brought an accusation, saying that she was a Christian.
