ἐπικειμένων δὴ οὖν σὺν πάσῃ σπουδῇ τῶν ἀναζητούντων αὐτὸν αὖθις πρὸς τῆς τῶν ἀδελφῶν διαθέσεως καὶ στοργῆς ἐκβεβιασμένον μεταβῆ- ναί φασιν ἐφʼ ἕτερον ἀγρὸν, ἔνθα μετʼοὐ πλεῖστον τοὺσ συνελαύνοντας ἐπελθεῖν, δύο δὲ τῶν αὐτόθι συλλαβεῖν παίδων, ὧν θάτερον αἰκισαμένους ἐπι– στῆναι διʼαὐτοῖ τῇ τοῦ Πολυκάρπου καταγωγῇ.

When those searching for him pressed on with all zeal, they say that, constrained again by the affection and love of the brothers, he moved to another farm, where not long afterwards the pursuers came, and seized two of the slaves there, one of whom they tortured and so came, through him, to Polycarp's lodging.
