ἕτερον δέ τι τούτου παραδοξότερον ὁ αὐτὸς ἱστορεῖ συγγραφεὺς χρησμόν τινα φάσκων ἐν ἱεροῖς γράμμασιν ηὑρῆσθαι περιέχοντα ὡς κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν ἐκεῖνον ἀπὸ τῆς χώρας τις αὐτῶν ἄρξει τῆς οἰκουμένης, ὃν αὐτὸς μὲν ἐπὶ Οὐεσπασιανὸν πεπληρῶσθαι ἐξείληφεν·
