καταρρηζάμε- “νος οὖν τὴν ἐσθῆτα ὁ ἀπόστολος, καὶ μετὰ μεγάλης “οἰμωγῆς πληξάμενος τὴν κεφαλὴν, καλόν γε, ἔφη, “φύλακα τῆς τἀδελφοῦ ψυχῆς κατέλιπον. ἀλλʼ ἵππος “ἤδη μοι παρέστω, καὶ ἡγεμὼν γινέσθω μοί τις τῆς “ὁδοῦ. ἤλαυνεν, ὥσπερ εἶχεν, αὐτόθεν ἀπὸ τῆς ἐκ- “κλησίας.

Then the apostle tore his clothes and, beating his head with loud lamentation, said, ‘A fine guardian of the brother's soul I left! But let a horse be brought me now, and let someone be my guide on the way.’ He rode off, just as he was, straight from the church.
