ὁ δὲ τὴν λαθραίαν συσκευὴν ὡς οὐδαμῶς ἐώρα κατὰ γνώμην αὐτῷ χωροῦσαν, τοῦ θεοῦ πάντα δόλον τε καὶ ῥᾳδιουργίαν τῷ θεοφιλεῖ βασιλεῖ κατάφωρα ποιοῦντος, οὐκέθʼ οἷός τε ὢν ἐπικρύπτεσθαι προφανῆ πόλεμον αἴρεται.
