ἀλλʼ ἐν μὲν τῷ πάντων ἄρχοντι ἴσως αὐτὸς ὅλος ἐγκάθηται Χριστὸς, ἐν δὲ τοῖς μετʼ αὐτὸν δευτερεύουσιν ἀναλόγως, καθʼ ὅσον ἕκαστος χωρεῖ Χριστοῦ δυνάμεως καὶ πνεύματος ἁγίου μερισμούς. βάθρα δʼ ἂν εἷεν καὶ ἀγγέλων καὶ αἵ τινων ψυχαὶ, τῶν εἰς παιδαγωγίαν καὶ φρουρὰν ἑκάστῳ παραδεδομένων.

But in the ruler of all perhaps Christ himself sits entire, and in those who hold second place after him proportionately, as each has room for the portions of the power of Christ and of the Holy Spirit. And the benches may be the souls of angels and of certain others, those appointed to each for instruction and guarding.
