τοῦτο καὶ προφητῶν κατεπλάγη τις θείου πνεύματος ὀφθαλμῷ τὸ μέλλον ἔσεσθαι προθεωρήσας, ὡς καὶ τάδε ἀναφθέγξασθαι τίς ἤκουσε τοιαῦτα, καὶ τίς ἐλάλησεν οὕτως; εἰ ὤδινε γῆ ἐν μιᾷ ἡμέρᾳ, καὶ εἰ ἐτέχθη ἔθνος εἰσάπαξ. ὑποσημαίνει δέ πως καὶ τὴν μέλλουσαν ὁ αὐτὸς προσηγορίαν λέγων “τοῖς δὲ δουλεύουσί μοι κληθήσεται ὄνομα καινὸν, ὃ εὐλογηθήσεται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. ”

English · Claude translation

One of the prophets was amazed at this, having foreseen by the eye of the divine Spirit what was to be, so that he cried out: “Who has heard such things, and who has spoken thus? Did the earth travail in one day, and was a nation born at once?” And the same prophet also hints at the name that was to come, saying, “But those who serve me shall be called by a new name, which shall be blessed upon the earth.”
