ὀρθρίσας οὖν ὁ Τωβίας τῇ ἑξῆς καὶ παραλαβὼν τὸν Θαδδαῖον ἦλθε πρὸς τὸν Ἄβγαρον· ὡς δὲ ἀνέβη, παρόντων καὶ ἑστώτων τῶν μεγιστάνων αὐτοῦ, παραχρῆμα ἐν τῷ εἰσιέναι αὐτὸν ὅραμα μέγα ἐφάνη τῷ Ἀβγάρῳ ἐν τῷ προσώπῳ τοῦ ἀποστόλου Θαδδαίου. ὅπερ ἰδὼν Ἄβγαρος προσεκύνησε τῷ Θαδδαίῳ, θαῦμά τε ἔσχε πάντας τοὺς περιεστῶτας· αὐτοὶ γὰρ οὐχ ἑωράκεσαν τὸ ὅραμα, ὃ μόνῳ τῷ Ἀβγάρῳ ἐφάνη.

So Tobias rose early the next day, took Thaddaeus, and came to Abgar. When he went up, with the king's nobles present and standing by, immediately as he entered a great vision appeared to Abgar in the face of the apostle Thaddaeus.
