disputed · Confession of the catholic faith in twenty-four anathemas, in Coustant's edition the second of Pope Damasus's letters to Paulinus of Antioch (Epistola IV); usually linked with the Roman council of 382 (the 'Tome of Damasus'). The date (378–382) and whether it came from one council are debated. Theodoret, Hist. eccl. 5.11, preserves a Greek version, which is not staged.
