ὥστε τὸ μὲν τῆς οἰκονομίας ἦν, τὸ πέταλον περικεῖσθαι καὶ μανθάνειν εἰς γνῶσιν, τὸ δὲ δυνάμεως. τὸ θεοφόρον γίνεσθαι τὸν ἄνθρωπον προσεχῶς ἐνεργούμενον ὑπὸ τοῦ κυρίου καὶ καθάπερ σῶμα αὐτοῦ γινόμενον.

So it belonged to the divine plan to wear the plate and to learn for knowledge; but it belongs to power that man becomes God-bearing, acted on directly by the Lord and becoming as it were his body.
