Titus of Bostra

Τίτος Βόστρων · Titus Bostrensis

Titus was bishop of Bostra in the Roman province of Arabia in the fourth century. His chief surviving work is Against the Manichees in four books, which argues from reason and Scripture that evil has no independent origin and that God is not its cause. The Greek of the first two books and part of the third survives; the rest is known from a Syriac translation.
