Philastrius of Brescia

Bishop of Brescia from about 380, who is said to have travelled widely against heresies. His Book of Heresies lists 156 (or 157) heresies, 28 before Christ and the rest after, beginning with the Ophites; it is one of the earliest Latin heresy catalogues and draws on Epiphanius and Hippolytus.
