Eutherius of Tyana

Εὐθέριος Τυάνων · Eutherius Tyanensis

Eutherius was bishop of Tyana, a friend of Nestorius and an ally of Theodoret and John of Antioch. His letters to John of Antioch, to Helladius of Tarsus and (with Helladius) to Pope Sixtus III survive in the Latin of the Collectio Casinensis. The Greek Confutationes printed among the works of Athanasius have been assigned to him by modern scholars.
