Constantine the Great

Κωνσταντῖνος · Constantinus

Constantine was the first Roman emperor to favour the Christian church. His Oration to the Assembly of the Saints, preserved in Greek with Eusebius's Life of Constantine, is the only sermon-like text transmitted under his name; several of his letters are preserved in Eusebius, Athanasius and others.
